    2. Order.BG OOD(“Ordermoon App”, “we”, “our” or “us”), acting as data controller, is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This notice (the “Privacy Notice”) is designed to tell you about our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information that you may provide via this  website  or our mobile applications (the “Platforms“).

    This Privacy Notice (together with our Terms and Conditions, any other documents referred to in it and our Cookie Notice) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

    1. What information do we collect from you and for how long?

    We may collect and process the following data about you:

    2.1. Information you give us

    You may give us information, including information that can identify you (“Personal Data“), when you use our Platforms.

    The information you give us may include:

    • 2.1.1. Mandatory information required to register for the application we provide and to access services provided by us, include your name and your email. These fields are mandatory to open an initial account. To use the Ordermoon services you will need to provide additional mandatory fields depending on if you are a Driver or Passenger or both:
    • Email Address
    • Location information when you are using the application which consent is part of the condition of use to the collection and processing of these data;

    2.2. Information we collect automatically

    • 5 years after your last use of our Platform, if you did not close your account;
    • 1 year after the closing of your account, except if you received a negative rating or report, in which case your Personal Data is stored for either (i) a 2-year period following the latest negative rating or report, or (ii) 1 year after the closing of your account, whichever is longer.

WHAT IS SKOOT?
We want you to have fun 🎉 driving with friends and with SKOOT you can have the best of both worlds. Driving a car 🚗 is really really really expensive ☹️and getting friends to chip in for petrol is nice, but sometimes hard to ask for, especially when a mate is begging you for a lift to get home from a gig late at night! 

SKOOT is your answer and helps you avoid that awkward convo of “wanna pay💰 some petrol?” as you can now let your friends know they can request a lift ANYTIME as you drive with SKOOT. All they need to do is download the app and enter the destination of where they want to go and SKOOT will find nearby friends who are ready to drive (a bit like those other expensive app’s, like BluBah or whatever, that we don’t always trust - don’t you think their drivers are a little bit weird 🧟‍♂️!). 


SO HOW DOES SKOOT WORK?
SKOOT is so simple - to become a passenger just download SKOOT from the App Store (don’t forget, get an intro code from a mate so your first ride is free and your friend will get another free ride too - all paid for by SKOOT!) Enter your mobile number so we can link your friends and press the SnapChat button to login (don’t worry - we just use your login name and your lovely bit emoji - that’s it - we don’t have access to anything else!). Obviously allow for GPS location - so your friends can find you to pick you up! You are now good to go.

Oh and before you can request a ride you just need to add a payment method to make it all work. This can be a scanning a payment card 💳 Monzo/Revolut etc or you can link in with your PayPal account - don’t worry we have some of the best security 🔐 storing your details so it is all safe! Let’s SKOOT……….

Just enter the address 🧭 of where you’re headed and confirm the location. SKOOT will do the rest and find your 5 nearest friends who are up for driving their mates! A price of the ride will be shown for each friend which is calculated by SKOOT (not them!), along with how long it will take for them to get to you - assuming they don’t nip to Maccy D’s on the way without you 🤨

YOU then decide which friend you want SKOOT to get to give you a ride. Your mate gets a ping from SKOOT 🔊 showing where you want to go and how long it will take. If they’ve just been grounded by Mum 👩‍💼 they can decline your request (how dare they!) and you can then press for your next favourite friend! Obviously this one will accept and you get confirmation they're on the way. 

There is a nice little map that shows you where your friend is including a countdown of how many minutes ⏱ away they are. When they arrive, you jump in and have a natter (or sing song 🎶) all the way! When you get your location you just jump out of their car and the charge is made via PayPal or your payment card 💳 - automatically - no looking for cash or “I’ll pay you tomoz"


SO HOW MUCH WILL A JOURNEY COST ME?
Not as much as some apps we can mention - which are THREE times as expensive! Effectively because your lovely friend has saved you, they deserve something and so SKOOT calculates the total length of their whole journey. This means you pay 57pence per mile for your friend to drive to you, take you to where you want to go and then for them to get home!

And yes - the others are still THREE times as much even including the whole journey - no wonder they are worth Uber money 😉 if you know what we mean!

Oh last thing, if you are desperate and the journey is really small (under 5 miles for the whole trip) there is a minimum charge of £3.00 just to make sure no one is out of pocket!


WOW SOUNDS GREAT, HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I GET IF I DRIVE?

To be a driver on SKOOT we have to take a little bit more info to make sure you and your friends are safe.

All we need is your vehicle registration number (so friends know your car

 when it arrives!) and we will just check that you have Tax and an MOT - it’s easy to forget to renew! And that is it!

To ensure that you are compliant with your insurance company we have to adhere to the rules 👮‍♂️

This is the 😱 boring bit, but we have to make sure you can only charge 45pence per mile for each mile driven. This includes the whole journey – so you get paid for the journey to pick up your friend, drive them to their requested detination and then also the journey for you to get home.

Your friends can help and pay for other items like parking at the gig, congestion charges (if any) or sundry costs (like offering to pay for a burger 🍔 on your way home – how nice!)
